I have very strong feelings about the state of the music industry today. It seems to have strayed away from producing "pure" music in the sense that now,more so than ever the recording industry is just in it to make a buck.
Its kind of always been that way but now more than ever.
there is still a few jewels to be gleaned from the dirt if you look hard enough.

Being in Vegas we get a lot of Bands coming through here. We are the entertainment capitol of the world. The classic rock of the 70s still seems to be one of the big sellers here and on any given night you can see bands like Yes,ELP,Eddie Money,Sammy Hager,Loverboy,James Taylor,or any one of a hundred other classic acts.Some of these you can catch in the hotel lounges, which makes for a great show.Other artists you can find in the rock clubs, I have seen shows like, Gary Ritchrath(REO Speedwagon),Al DiMeola,UFO,Mahogany Rush,Edgar Winter, Robin Trower,and the list goes on and on. we are blessed with a great number of concert venues here in town..THE HARDROCK CAFE,HOUSE OF BLUES,STATION CASINOS,(which have great show venues) the MGM
